Year 6 attended the Young Voices concert in Sheffield Arena. In the lead up to the event, they have been learning the songs: Matilda Medlay, Today is Gonna be a Great Day, Pop Medlay and In the Mood (amongst many more!). Year 6 Trip to The Deep

Hook and Goole Music Concert

Year 4 had the wonderful opportunity to perform Music at Delta Academy, Goole. The project was funded by the Hook and Goole Charity who kindly donated a grant to purchase musical instruments for our schools. Big Brid Sing

Year 5 pupils went off to Bridlington on Wednesday to take part in an East Riding singing concert. The children had learnt the songs in the weeks before the concert and everyone had a very good time. Design Technology

As part of our Design Technology project on building and designing trains, Year 4 designed a moving train. We were invited to a Primary Engineers event, sponsored by Siemens, where the children confidently talked about the design process behind their trains. Their trains were then tested by experienced engineers to see if they meet the criteria

Trains in Year 4

As part of our topic 'All Aboard' Year 4 have been designing and making trains. We were inspired by our visit to the National Railway Museum in January. We used electrical circuits with a motor to power our trains and designed them so that they could travel in a straight line.
