Year Trip to St. John’s Chrurch

As part of our RE, Year 6 visited St John's Church in Goole to learn about Christingles. The children made their own Christingle and were able to explain what each of the items on a Christingle represents. Afterwards, the children lit their Christingles and took part in a moment of reflection. We would like to thank Emma from St John's church for organising the trip.

Year 6 Trip to Eden camp

As part of the upcoming Armistice week in school, Year 6 visited Eden Camp. The children learned about all aspects of World War I and World War II including what life was like during the Blitz. The children experienced what life was like in a trench in WWI and what it was like to live on a street in 1930's and 1940's Britain. There was
