Prison Me! No Way!

‘On Friday 9th June we were fortunate enough to get a visit from Prison Me? Now Way! The first activity we took part in was by YMCA: it was about the transition to high school and how we might feel being the youngest in the school. The second activity was about Road Safety – always wear your seatbelt! A member of Humberside Fire Rescue Department delivered the third activity, which was about fires and how dangerous they are. During the fourth activity, we became prisoners and got to go be locked in the back of the van (where they were a replica of a prison cell). Finally, there was a workshop on Internet Safety.
It was a fantastic day and we learnt some really valuable lessons.’
