KCFM
On Tuesday 24th November 10 children from Y3 and Y4 were selected to represent the school in a radio competition that is to be hosted by the radio station KCFM! The ‘Breakfast Show’ presenter Matt Hutchinson spent the morning in school and recorded our children asking a variety of questions that will be used as part of a phone in competition called ‘Smalltalk’. Our school will also be the ‘school of the week’ and interviews with the children will be played throughout this time. A podcast will soon be available to download. The children were also recorded singing ‘Let it go’ that will be played on Christmas Eve! It’s hoped that in the future the children will have an opportunity to visit the radio studio in Hull to find out what it’s like to work for a radio station!
