Child Protection and Family Support

  • Miss Sarah Tasker-Lynch is our dedicated Child Protection Coordinator and also Pastoral Lead.

  • Mr Mike Sibley is the Deputy Child Protection Coordinator

  • Mrs Pat Dyson is our Governor with responsibility for safeguarding.

Miss Tasker-Lynch and Mr Sibley are always available before and after school.

Mrs Dyson is available by contacting the office.

At Boothferry we pride ourselves on supporting families. We support, signpost and listen to families when they are in need.

Miss Tasker-Lynch works with the Headteacher Mr Sibley on child protection issues and concerns.

If you have immediate concerns about a child, you can contact the safeguarding and Partnership Hub (SAPH) to log your concern and receive advice.

Miss Tasker-Lynch is happy to meet with any parents, who may have concerns about their child, to listen and support where appropriate. Offering support in school and making referrals to other agencies as needed.

Miss Tasker-Lynch is out at the front of school, at the start and end of each school day, please stop her and say hello and, if you need any support, please mention you would like to see her and that can be arranged.

Work will be done in school with pupils on a 1-1 basis covering a wide variety of needs/areas.
