25 years of Yum!
On Friday 27th November, our cook, Mrs Sharron Marwood celebrated a very special anniversary. She has been cooking the meals for the children of Boothferry for 25 years – that’s over 200,000 meals served. Each and every day, Sharron, with the help of her team, make fresh food for all of the children and staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Everyone has their favourite, from chicken curry, to roast gammon – not forgetting the upcoming Christmas lunch.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, Sharron got the day off. She was the VIP on the top table and spent all lunch chatting with the children. Her place in the kitchen was taken by a very special cook, Mr Sibley!
Here’s to another 25 years.
