Aliens love… Socks!
This week in Year 1 we have been reading “Aliens love underpants save the world”. We retold the story in our own words, thinking carefully about the structure of our writing. On Wednesday, the Aliens visited us, leaving behind a trail of socks! We followed the trail to the school field where we found a giant sock hanging from the tree. When we returned to the classroom we planned our own story about where the sock had come from. The children wrote some fantastic stories about how the Aliens saved the world with the sock!
