Child Protection and Family Support

  • Mrs Sarah Dye is our dedicated Child Protection Coordinator

  • Mr Mike Sibley is the Deputy Child Protection Coordinator

  • Mrs Pat Dyson is our Governor with responsibility for safeguarding.

Mrs Dye and Mr Sibley are always available before and after school.

Mrs Dyson is available by contacting the office.

At Boothferry we pride ourselves on supporting families. We support, signpost and listen to families when they are in need.

Sarah works with the Headteacher Mr Sibley on child protection issues and concerns.

Sarah is happy to meet with any parents, who may have concerns about their child, to listen and support where appropriate. Offering support in school, and making referrals to other agencies as needed.

Sarah is out at the front of school, at the start and end of each school day, please stop her and say hello and, if you need any support, please mention you would like to see her and that can be arranged.

Work will be done in school with pupils on a 1-1 basis covering a wide variety of needs/areas.

When ever I have had a problem the staff on the whole have been sympathetic and helpful.
