Fairground Exit Point

In our fairground topic we have been doing amazing activities. In the first week of our topic, we took a trip to the fab Flamingo Land. We went on loads of fantastic rides, learning about the forces and pulls they are using to create these rides and how could we link the ideas together to make an even more fab fairground ride. On the second week, of our topic everyone was evan more than excited to learn more so we decided to make paper roller coasters. To make our paper roller coasters we needed to have good listening skills and everybody’s rollercoasters were perfect. On our final week we used our knowledge of what we have done in the past to make our own fairground rides that move. We used wires, a motor, a battery, a battery holder and a pulley if you were making a slower ride. At the end of the term, we made some fantastic rides and shared them on Twitter (we were retweeted by Global companies!) We also shared them with other classes in our school. We have all had so much fun. We all owe Mrs Emmerson a great thank you.
