Open Morning of Forces
Today at Boothferry Primary School, children of year 5 had an open morning to show off their work about forces. “It was so busy I nearly got lost!” said Kaitlyn age 9. Adults came and saw how well the children had understood forces. They have enjoyed learning and trying to find out about forces. At the reception of school 2 children had the job to invite in the adults and show them what to do. As Goole is a small town it doesn’t have many people living there, but lots of people and children turned up to this event. The children really enjoyed this opportunity to show their friends and family about their work. The children had fun being in charge of how this day went. The people of Boothferry loved this event. They loved sharing their work with the adults they hope to do it again on a new topic. “It was excellent!” said Dennis. “I think it’s lovely,” said Mrs Bussey. “I learned a lot about forces” said Mr Capewell. “It was nice showing off our work to parents.”
