Year 4 2022-2023- Primary Engineers April 2023

Primary Engineers Event April 2023

As part of our Design Technology, Year 4 designed and made moving trains. The winning designs were selected to be taken to the Siemens Mobility Plant in Goole for a celebration event.

At the event, the children had an ‘interview’ with actual engineers where they had to explain the design process and how they created their project.

Their trains were then tested on a track and they competed against other schools.

In addition, there were many features in the factory that the children could explore, including taking a virtual tour of the site and riding on a model train!

We would like to thank Primary Engineers and Siemens Mobility for helping to organise a wonderful event.
