Year 4 Trip to the National Railway Museum

Year 4 recently visited the National Railway Museum in York as part of their entry point into their topic ‘All Aboard!’
Here we looked at the history of trains and railways and we were lucky enough to be able to explore different types of trains from around the world.
Attached are some of the reviews that the children did about the museum.
‘My favourite bit was the bullet train because of the modern interior and the bullet shape.’
‘I enjoyed looking at the postal train to see how the letter were collected while the train was still moving’.
