Year 6 FAIRGROUNDS Exit Point
On Wednesday 18th October, Year 6 welcomed parents into school for their spectacular exit point celebrating the end of their Fairgrounds topic. We worked hard in DT lessons to create striking fairground rides (that actually work). We also made exquisite, mouth-watering, pearl-white chocolate apples. On display was our fabulous poetry to blow the minds of our parents. We also made some outstanding cartoon portraits with hair that was ink blown to make it look like we had been on a hair-raising ride. We showed off our computing skills with Flowol set up to program a fairground ride simulator – we had to write commands that would make the ride move. We also made bunting to decorate our learning environment, wrote leaflets about Flamingo Land and investigated electricity and circuits.
