Election fever
On Tuesday 5th May, Boothferry Primary School saw Election fever grip the children’s imagination. Members of 4E studied the main points of the different political parties and presented them to the whole school.
Firstly, the democratic process was explained, including the importance of the local MP and their role in improving Goole. The proportional representation system was illustrated and each of the Political Parties explained their main policies. Over the week, each pupil will visit the specially made voting booth and Boothferry will have its winner on Friday.
