Gamelan Music
On Friday 25th January 2019 Year 5 were fortunate to go to Goole High School to take part in a music workshop where they learned about Gamelan music. They were able to use the variety of Gamelan instruments throughout the day and learned about the customs and Gamelan traditions.
Houses of Parliament 2019
On Friday 25th January School Council made the journey to London to visit the Houses of Parliament. In Parliament we visited the Queenโs dressing room, learnt the difference between the House of Lords and the House of Commons and we even had special access to the Terrace! Whilst in London we visited the London Eye, Trafalgar Square, the Horse Guards Parade and Downing
Choir December 2018
Our wonderful Choir have been performing throughout Goole this festive period. We performed concerts at Costa Coffee, The Courtyard and Beech Tree Care Home. We enjoyed performing Christmas Carols and spreading the festive cheer around Goole.
Year 6 Strictly Come Dancing
In dance lessons this half term, Year 6 have been taking inspiration from Strictly Come Dancing and learning to Charleston! We learnt the basic steps, watched videos from the show and developed our own routines. I'm sure you'll agree the final result is fab-u-lous!
