Earthquake in Goole!
Year 3 have witnessed an earthquake in Goole. Here is a live report from the scene.
Curling Tournament
On Tuesday 7th February 2017 Boothferry hosted our second ever curling tournament. This year, 4 schools in total were involved, including Airmyn, Parkside and Hook. We were delighted that Boothferry won the tournament by a single point! Everyone enjoyed the curling tournament and we hope that there will be more opportunities like this in the future. London Trip!
School Council enjoyed a trip down to London last week. The children visited the Houses of Parliament, learning about the history of Government and they went on a tour of the building. They were lucky enough to watch a debate happening in the Houses of Commons. After their tour of Parliament they went on the underground to the Natural History Museum.
Sid The Shark visits Boothferry
On Monday 9th January Sid the Shark will be visiting Boothferry. He is the mascot for the Illegal Money Lending Team for Credit Union's new promotion to raise the dangers of using Loan Sharks. Adults, children and staff can open ANY account and pay and receive ยฃ25 FREE deposited into their account. There is no minimum amount to save and the promotion will run through
