Children in Need
Together the school raised a huge ยฃ373.10 for Children in Need last Friday.ย The children and staff enjoyed wearing their pyjamas for the day with lots of classes finding out and presenting information about the amazing work Children in Need does in โGood Work assemblyโ.ย Well done everybody!
Photography Exhibition
Some lucky year 5 children were challenged by The Courtyard to take amazing photographs using disposable cameras. They showed great skill and even managed to get their best photos on display!
Science Day
We had a fantastic science afternoon last Friday 4th November, welcoming our parents to join us in our investigations. Fantastic learning across school included; exploring ice, investigating shadows, testing materials, making sandcastles, fireworks in a jar, acting out the circulatory system and exploring owl pellets! Temples, Tombs and Treasures
In Year 4 we launched our new topic: Temples, Tombs and Treasures with an exciting day packed with different Ancient Egyptian themed activities. The children took on the role of a tomb explorer to find ancient artifacts in Tutankhamunโs tomb; researched Ancient Egyptian gods and goddesses to make them their own Facebook page; became archaeologists to unearth different artifacts and clues about life in Ancient
