Sports for Schools!
On the 26th April 2016, we hosted our Sports for School event with GB diver, James Denny. The children all had a fantastic time working with James and our 'sportivator' Jay to complete a challenging sports circuit. The whole school took part, from year 6, right the way down to nursery. Year 3 leaflets in Pompeii!
In the spring term Year 3 produced leaflets providing information for tourists visiting the ruins of Pompeii. They used Publisher to design the leaflets and researched the information on the internet. Mr Possible took the leaflets to Pompeii where the museum were so impressed with them, that they decide to print further copies for tourists to use. Year 2 at the Oscar Awards
Amazing finale to Year 2 topic "Media Magic". ย The children have learnt how to be Foley artists, script writers, animators, editors, directors and much more. ย The children planned their stories, wrote the scripts, added special effects and created their own animated short films. ย The animations were fantastic and the awards very well deserved.
