Volcanoes in Year 3
ย In year 3 over the last couple of weeks, they have had lots of fun exploring the different parts of volcanoes and understanding why we have natural disasters such as earthquakes in our world. They have been making jigsaws of the world to help understand the tectonic plates and see where these meet, also making play dough earths helping them understand the different layers
Drug Awareness
On Monday 25th January, PC Day from Humberside Police force spent the morning with Year 5 and Year 6 as part of our health studies. He spent time explaining that Drugs fall into 3 categories. Those that stimulate, those that depress and those that cause hallucinations. All drugs are chemicals and change the way our bodies work, even if prescribed by the doctors. PC day
Year 2 Computing
Year 2 are doing animation in computing using the iPads and the iStopMotion app.
Film Club
Film Club have been using the iPad's and the 'Quiver' app to produce animated pictures. Please follow the link for more information about Quiver. http://quivervision.com ย
