Exploring Power

This week in Year 1 the children were invited to bring in a battery operated toy from home. We explored how a battery works and looked at the use of a switch on a toy. Chocolate Day

For the entrance of the new Year 4 topic we invited chocolate by design to come and share their expert information with us. They told us all about where chocolate came from, how it is made, how to find the healthiest chocolate and most excitedly we tempered chocolate.
