Boothferry Bike Shop
On January 6th, the Year Five turned a classroom into a bike workshop. All the pupils learnt how to identify and mend a puncture, an essential life skill, particularly as we head towards 'The Big Peddle' and 'Goole's Big Bike day'. Owl Pellets
As part of our Land, Sea and Sky topic, we used owl pellets to learn about food chains and what an owl eats. We had to wear a lot of safety equipment because owl pellets are made up of all the parts of an animal that an owl cannot digest and we needed to keep ourselves save from germs. We found lots of interesting bones
Year 4’s New Topic
To launch Year 4's new topic of Chocolate we spent our first day back at school in Willy Wonka's Chocolate factory. We have created chocolate play dough, designed factories, created our own characters, made board games, created a model factory using modrock and most excitedly... Tasted different chocolates!
Fairground Exit Point
In our fairground topic we have been doing amazing activities. In the first week of our topic, we took a trip to the fab Flamingo Land. We went on loads of fantastic rides, learning about the forces and pulls they are using to create these rides and how could we link the ideas together to make an even more fab fairground ride.
