Open Morning of Forces

Today at Boothferry Primary School, children of year 5 had an open morning to show off their work about forces. "It was so busy I nearly got lost!" said Kaitlyn age 9. Beech Tree House

'On Tuesday we went to Beech Tree House to do some singing. Lots of us went to sing. We went to cheer them up because they might not have a good Christmas like we do. A Traditional Nativity- A Reception and Nursery performance

Our youngest children's performance of the story of Jesus's birth. We had awesome angels, stunning stars and wise Kings.ย  All of the children used their best performance voices, including some beautiful singing of traditional Christmas hymns.ย  Mrs Hornshaw said "it was lovely, it brought a tear to my eye."ย  ย  Despite the cast being aged between 3 and 5, the speakers were loud, confident and

The Nutcracker

Our wonderful Key stage 1 children preformed the Nutcracker for their Christmas performance.ย  The cast included mice, soldiers and of course the famous 'sugar plum fairy'. It is a tale of toys coming to life under a Christmas tree. The songs were expertly performed and the cast were word perfect and very clear.ย  Well done all, we are very proud of you.
