Boothferry Primary School Remembers
The staff and pupils at Boothferry Primary School have spent this week remembering to coincide with Armistice Day. Our assembly on Monday 9/11 reflected upon the work of the British Legion, the symbol of the Poppy and why it is important to remember. They were taken back to November 1918 to explain the importance of the Armistice for the country. As part of our assembly,
Buildings Entry Point
We have had a very exciting week in Year 1 learning all about our new topic "buildings". The children became giants and entered a miniature Goole, exploring the different buildings in our local environment. The children then had to design their own building to add to Goole and decide what they were going to use to build their model. "The clock tower is really tall"-
Halloween day in Foundation
Today was Halloween day in Foundation. The children all came in dressed up in their scary and spooky costumes and took part in lots of fun and exciting activities. We went on a witch hunt, painted pumpkins and had a Halloween disco.
