Year 2 Exit Point
Year 2 invited their parents to a special famous person catwalk to find out about the learning from this half term. Each group of children chose a famous person and performed in different ways to teach their parents the interesting facts they had discovered. A great time was had by all.....roll on next half term and 'The Magic Toymaker!
ICT with Year 2
The Year 2 children have been Graphic Designers in ICT. Using Microsoft Word, Wordart, Clipart and Shapes the children have designed Halloween posters for the Halloween disco.
ICT with Year 1
Year 1 children have been using the 'Dazzle' paint package in their ICT lessons. They have created pictures of the Great Fire of London and the Moon Landing using all the paint package tools. ย
Cycling Initiative Scheme
The senior management team of the East Riding of Yorkshire Council visited Boothferry primary school as part of a day focused on issues related to Goole and the people of Goole. ย Mike Furbank, Head of Education and Schools observed: Boothferry Primary has sized the opportunities offered by the cycling initiative to transform the lives of many of its pupils. ย It was wonderful to see the
