Scouting Assembly

Our wonderful staff at Boothferry today shared their adventures of being involved with the Scouting/Guiding movement. All three are leaders in different units but used the theme of friendship and personal development as the theme of their assembly. They described the different types of activities that you can get involved with as a Beaver, Cub, Scout, Rainbow, Brownie or Guide, as well as a brief history of the movements.
The children asked several good questions and many have expressed a wish to join in the future.
Well done Mrs Laverick, Miss Williams and Mrs Griffin.
