The pupils of Boothferry Primary will be taking their fitness to new heights by attempting to collectively bike and run the distance to a satellite above the earth, a whopping 717km! On Friday 12th January 2018 our School Council had the opportunity to go to London and visit the Houses of Parliament. Our Wednesday lunchtime club entered a competition at the national railway museum. For this we designed ten different baubles to be displayed on the christmas tree. On Friday 1st December all of Boothferry Primary School Choir met up at the Junction for their performance at the Goole Christmas Lights switch on. We went on the stage and sung with the band. Once again the children of Boothferry supported Children in Need. The event was kicked off with Miss Williams highlighting the work of this umbrella charity and the many local projects that it supports. On Wednesday 15th November girls from Year 5 and 6 represented the school in the champions league final at South Hunsley High School. This was a result of winning the local cluster competition back in October. The girls played four tough games drawing the first 0-0 and then narrowly losing the other three 0-1. Gracie
On Wednesday 18th October, Year 6 welcomed parents into school for their spectacular exit point celebrating the end of their Fairgrounds topic.
