Year 6 FAIRGROUNDS Exit Point
On Wednesday 18th October, Year 6 welcomed parents into school for their spectacular exit point celebrating the end of their Fairgrounds topic. We worked hard in DT lessons to create striking fairground rides (that actually work). We also made exquisite, mouth-watering, pearl-white chocolate apples. Our wonderful Girl's football team competed in the local school's competition at Goole Academy. For many of these girls, this is the first time that they have tried football. R-evolution launch new premises
Boothferry pupils were invited as VIP's when our friends at R-evolution launched their new premises in Cottingham. For a few years, our successful bike library scheme has been running and it in this new workshop that our bikes are serviced and mended. Helping Others
On Friday 29th September, we went to our local food bank. We were surprised to discover that they are given around four tons of food a year. They struggle to get food like canned meat. Sadly, 12% of people in our area are living in poverty. The volunteers at our church try to change this. They cook warm meals every Friday for people who need
