Year 1 Entry Point

This week in Year 1 we've had a very exciting start to our new topic 'Say Cheese!'. We set up our very own catwalk in the hall and the children came to school dressed as their favourite book or film character. Boothferry Bake Off 2015

Boothferry Bake Off 2015 The annual Boothferry Bake off took place over the month month of February. This year, Years 1 and 2 had to design and bake a biscuit, Years 3 and 4, a cup cake and Year 5 and 6 took on bread. ย Every child in the school spent time researching their product, held tasting and canvassed the staff on what they liked

Using adjectives to describe aliens

This week in Year 1 we have been creating our own aliens! We used a variety of materials to create our aliens, then we had to think of some adjectives to describe the aliens we made.
