Scavengers and Settlers
'On Wednesday the 7th October, 3P and 3W went to the Library to learn more about Scavengers and Settlers. The first activity was we had to go upstairs and we learned about stones called fossils.
The Great Fire of London
In Year 1 this week we have been learning about the Great Fire of London. We have extended our knowledge of timelines by sequencing the key events from the fire. “The fire was in 1666.”

Brain Week
This September all our classes spent time learning about how our brains work. We dissected jelly brain and learned all about the different functions that our 'super computers' perform. We even had some real pigs
